da aviator aposta: Former Leeds United manager Garry Monk released a statement on Twitter on Thursday evening after the club had announced that he had resigned from his post earlier in the day.
da pinnacle: The 38-year-old moved to Elland Road on a 12-month rolling contract last summer but narrowly missed out on taking the club to the Championship play-off positions this season following a disappointing end to the campaign.
Despite that, new owner Andrea Radrizzani was keen to extend his current deal but Monk explained that even though he wanted to be at the Yorkshire outfit “for many years”, an agreement couldn’t be found between the two that would have moved the Whites forward.
Leeds supporters were quick to give their responses to the statement via social media, with many saying that the words were empty and others believing that he has been offered more money to move to another club.
