da bwin: Leeds United fans have been on social media reacting to the news that the club’s former striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga has joined Al-Arabi.
The 27-year-old scored 13 times in the second tier of German football last season but has now left Hamburger SV to join Al-Arabi on a three-year contract.
Lasogga netted 10 times in 33 appearances whilst on loan at Leeds during the 2017-18 campaign.
In the latter stages of 2018, a number of the Championship club’s fans claimed that a permanent move for the striker should have been pursued.
That ship has now well and truly sailed.
However, Lasogga did have a decent spell at Elland Road and might have been an asset for the Whites this season if the move had been made permanent.
A number of Leeds fans have been on social media offering their opinions on the German’s switch to Qatar.
